Canopy Product Warranty
Thank you for choosing Canopy! We are committed to providing you with high-quality products that meet your needs and expectations. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage to ensure your satisfaction and peace of mind.
1. Warranty Coverage:
1.1 Canopy offers 2 product warranties that cover defects in materials and workmanship.
1.1.1 The standard Canopy 12 Month Warranty covers all units, comes with every purchase of a Canopy Humidifier or Diffuser and lasts for a specified period from the date of purchase.
1.1.2 The Canopy Lifetime Warranty will be active throughout the duration of a Customer’s eligible subscription (see section 2.2).
1.2 Warranties are applicable only to products purchased directly from Canopy or authorized resellers. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required to claim warranty coverage.
1.3 Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original recipient of the product.
2. Warranty Activation
2.1 Every Canopy unit (i.e Bedside Humidifier, Humidifier Plus, and Diffuser) is covered by a 12 month warranty which will be automatically activated upon purchase.
2.2 To be eligible for the Canopy Lifetime Warranty coverage, the Customer must have an active Aroma + Filter either created at the time of purchase, or added to the account at a later date, for their Canopy product.
2.2.1 The Lifetime Warranty is only valid for the specific product associated with the active eligible subscription and is non-transferable.
2.2.2 Subscription Eligibility is defined as an Active Aroma + Filter Subscription where the customer has received a minimum of 2 refills per 6 months of activation.
22.214.171.124 In the event that the Customer Experience team chooses to issue a Lifetime Warranty replacement for a unit attached to a subscription with fewer than 2 refills and said subscription is cancelled prior to the requirement being fulfilled then the full replacement unit cost will be charged to the card on file.
126.96.36.199 While cancellation of an eligible subscription does not forever null warranty coverage, an active subscription is a requirement for Lifetime Warranty coverage.
3. Warranty Claims:
3.1 If you believe your Canopy product is defective and qualifies for warranty coverage, please contact our Customer Experience team within the warranty period. You can reach us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3.2 Our Customer Experience team will guide you through the warranty claim process, which may include providing additional information, troubleshooting steps, or requesting photographs or videos to assess the issue.
3.3 If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, our Customer Experience team will provide instructions for returning the product to us. You may be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the product, unless otherwise specified by Canopy.
4. Warranty Determination:
4.1 Upon receiving your returned product, our technicians will inspect and evaluate the issue reported.
4.2 If the issue is determined to be covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product, or provide a refund of the original purchase price.
4.3 The decision regarding repair, replacement, or refund will be based on factors such as the nature of the defect, availability of replacement parts, or current product stock.
4.4 In cases where the product or a specific component is discontinued or unavailable, Canopy reserves the right to replace the product or component with a similar item of equal or higher value.
5. Warranty Exclusions:
5.1 Neither Canopy Warranty will cover damage or defects resulting from:
5.1.1 Units that have been lost or disposed of.
5.1.2 Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage and discoloration wherein the unit is still functioning.
5.1.3 Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or improper installation of the product.
5.1.4 Damage caused by failure to follow the product's instructions, warnings, or maintenance guidelines provided by Canopy.
5.1.5 Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized persons.
5.1.6 Accidental damage, or any external causes beyond our control.
5.1.7 Products that have been used for commercial purposes or in a manner inconsistent with their intended use.
5.2 Units covered under the Lifetime Warranty can only be replaced once every 12 months.
6. Limitation of Liability:
6.1 To the extent permitted by law, Canopy's liability under these warranties is limited to the purchase price of the product.
6.2 In no event shall Canopy be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the product, its use, or the warranty, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Additional Information:
7.1 This warranty policy is in addition to any rights or remedies provided under applicable consumer protection laws.
7.2 Canopy reserves the right to modify or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will be published on our website.
