Step 1Remove existing showerhead
Unscrew existing shower head by turning counterclockwise by hand or use the wrench provided. Not quite sure how? Learn more here.

Step 2Attach the Filtered Showerhead
Simply twist it clockwise onto the pipe until secure. Use the winged tab at the top of the Showerhead to tighten.

Step 3Enjoy your cleanest clean!
Use the adjuster on the face to toggle between the three water pressure settings offered.

Step 4Make it a shower ritual
Place the Felt Diffuser on your Filtered Showerhead and drop ~15 drops of oil onto the felt. Enjoy as the scent fills your bathroom!

What does it filter out?
The Canopy filtered shower head has been tested to ANSI/NSF-177 standards to reduce chlorine and other contaminants. The ingredients in our filtering media have been shown to help reduce chlorine, magnesium, calcium carbonate, iron, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, chromium, and chloramine.4

When & how do I change the filter?
We recommend replacing your filter every 90 days by pushing the lip of the showerhead upwards, removing & unscrewing face, tossing out the old & placing in the new filter inside
Will it fit in my shower?
It sure will! We created the Canopy Filtered Showerhead to fit the standard 1/2-inch thread size for modern-day US plumbing fixtures, including fixed, adjustable, rain, handheld and dual shower fixture set.

How do I use Canopy Aromas in the shower?
Drip 15 drops of your desired oil on the Felt Diffuser or into the shower directly for a quick burst of aroma, and hang freely in your shower. Enjoy!

This is so simple to use. It installs quickly. I also love that you can have one delivered exactly when it’s time to change it. That way I don’t have to store extra in my house! My teenage girls are happy with the results and feel confident at school. I also love that we have additional filtration since we don’t know what bad stuff is in our water these days!

I still haven't gotten my first filter in, because I can't get the showerhead off!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble unscrewing your Handheld Showerhead to replace the filter. We understand how frustrating it must be to have your subscription on hold because of this, and we’d love to help get this sorted out.
There are small grips on the faceplate that you can use for extra traction when twisting it open. If it feels too tight, there may be some mineral buildup along the threads. Make sure both your hands and the handle are completely dry, and try wrapping a towel around the faceplate to get a better grip.
Sometimes, a bit of pressure or suction can build up inside the handle and faceplate, making it more difficult to twist open. If it still won’t budge, try unscrewing the handle from the hose first to release that pressure, then attempt to remove the faceplate again. This shouldn’t happen every time, but it can occur occasionally.
Once you’re able to open it, be sure to thoroughly clean the threads on both the handle and faceplate before reattaching them. This will help prevent buildup and make the faceplate easier to open next time.
If you’re still unable to unscrew the faceplate, please send us a short video showing your attempt. One of our team members will take a closer look and provide more specific guidance based on what you’re experiencing.
