What kind of warranty does Canopy offer?
Canopy offers a 12 Month Limited Warranty with every purchase plus an optional Lifetime Protection Plan for subscribers. Both cover defects caused by manufacturing errors. In the event that your Canopy unit is no longer functioning, our team will replace any defective unit or part.
Every Canopy customer gets the standard Canopy 12 Month Limited Warranty with the purchase of a Canopy Humidifier (Bedside, Nursery, Portable, or Large Room), Showerhead, or Diffuser.
Customers enrolled in our Aroma Subscriptions are automatically enrolled in the Canopy Lifetime Protection Plan, which extends coverage beyond 12 months for as long as your eligible subscription remains active.
What is the Canopy Lifetime Protection Plan?
The Canopy Lifetime Protection Plan is an extended service contract — separate from the standard 12 Month Limited Warranty — that provides ongoing coverage for manufacturing defects for as long as you maintain an active, eligible Aroma Subscription. Think of it as extended protection that comes with your subscription.
How do I register my device?
Your 12 Month Limited Warranty activates automatically when you purchase your Canopy product. No registration is required.
To enroll in the Lifetime Protection Plan, you'll need an active Aroma Subscription. You can enroll for a Bedside Humidifier here, a Portable Humidifier here, a Large Room Humidifier here, Showerhead here, and a Diffuser here.
Which products are covered?
The following products are covered under both the 12 Month Limited Warranty and the Lifetime Protection Plan:
Canopy Bedside Humidifier
Canopy Nursery Humidifier
Canopy Portable Humidifier
Canopy Large Room Humidifier
Canopy Filtered Showerhead
Canopy Aroma Diffuser
Replacement filters, aroma kits, and other consumable accessories are not covered.
What is covered under the warranty?
Both the 12 Month Limited Warranty and the Lifetime Protection Plan offer full coverage for manufacturing defects. In the event that your Canopy unit is no longer functioning, our team will replace any defective unit or part.
You may be asked to submit photos or videos of your unit, or send back what you have for testing in accordance with instructions we will provide.
What is not covered?
Coverage cannot be used to replace:
Units that have been lost, stolen, or disposed of
Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage and discoloration where the unit is still functioning
Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or improper installation
Damage caused by failure to follow the product's instructions, warnings, or maintenance guidelines
Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized persons
Accidental damage, acts of nature, or any external causes beyond our control
Products that have been used for commercial purposes or in a manner inconsistent with their intended residential use
Please note that units covered under the Lifetime Protection Plan can only be replaced once every 12 months.
How do I know if I'm eligible for the Lifetime Protection Plan?
To be eligible, you must have an active Aroma Subscription either created at the time of purchase or added to your account at a later date. You must have received a minimum of 2 refills per 6 months of activation.
If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your Lifetime Protection Plan coverage is suspended until you reactivate. Your 12 Month Limited Warranty (if still within 12 months of purchase) remains unaffected.
How do I submit a warranty or protection plan claim?

Who pays for return shipping?
For valid 12 Month Limited Warranty claims within the continental United States, Canopy covers standard return shipping. For Lifetime Protection Plan claims, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise specified by our team.
What are my legal rights?
This policy gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you have under applicable state or federal consumer protection laws.
