Not all humidifiers are created equal. Yes! We've consulted with a number of specialists regarding the performance and use of the Canopy Nursery Humidifier. We believe the Canopy Nursery Humidifier is a beneficial addition to any room in your home, but especially your nursery. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the use of an evaporative or cool-mist humidifier for your child’s room, because they’re safer for children and pets than warm-mist humidifiers or vaporizers.

As always, we recommend consulting with your pediatrician prior to incorporating any new device into your baby's nursery.

Adding a Nursery Humidifier to your child's room can help relieve symptoms of cold and flu, such as sinus irritation, nasal congestion, and cough; relieve symptoms of allergies and asthma; relieve dryness & redness for healthy, hydrated skin; reduce the infectiousness of airborne viruses indoors by up to 5x.

The Humdifier's tank, cap, and tray can all be put in the dishwasher. Essentially, any part of the product that holds water, can go directly into the dishwasher!

Do not place the body of the Nursery Humidifier, which houses the fan, into the dishwasher as this section is where the electrical components are stored.

We recommend that you keep your Nursery Humidifier on a clean surface, to avoid dust and debris being picked up by the fan. But if you're seeing dust in the fan of your humidifier you can clean this out by using canned air to dislodge anything that may have collected on the fan or screen. After using the canned air, simply wipe the fan with a damp cloth, both on top and inside your humidifier. No need to unscrew anything!

While the Nursery & Bedside Humidifiers share similar design and functionality, the difference lies in the aroma kits that come with each. The Nursery option is paired with our Little Dreams Aroma Kit, which includes two scents formulated with little ones in mind: 'Rise' and 'Lull.' 'Rise' combines sweet orange and eucalyptus to aid in easy breathing, and 'Lull' features warm vanilla and calming lavender to help little ones drift off to sleep.
