    The Canopy Humidifier is designed to help maintain optimal humidity in spaces up to about 500 sq. ft., with a recommended indoor humidity range of 40–60%. Because it uses evaporative technology rather than producing a visible mist, it’s designed to gradually maintain a healthy level of humidity rather than create a dramatic, immediate increase. If a room starts out particularly dry, it can sometimes take a few days of consistent use to regulate the space, especially during peak dry seasons or when heating is running frequently.

    Your environment can also affect how noticeable the results are. A constantly running heater or HVAC system, open doors, windows, or vents can dry the air faster than the humidifier can replenish it. The more enclosed the room, the more noticeable the effect is likely to be.

    If you’re not seeing the change you’d like, we recommend trying the humidifier in a smaller, well-enclosed room and keeping the bedroom door and windows closed while it runs. Many of our customers use their Canopy in the bedroom while sleeping, where you should gradually notice less dryness over time rather than a dramatic change after a single night.
