Purification Filters

Everything you need to keep your devices running smoothly

FAQs

Keep your air purifier running well and filtering out unwanted contaminants by replacing it every six months. This interval has been determined based on daily use and average home air quality. Canopy air purifier filters are designed for approximately 720 hours of use.

The ideal timing of replacement is also dependent on the unique factors within your home, such as local pollutants and other air quality variables. For example, if your pet sleeps in the same room as you, your bedroom air purifier filter may require more frequent replacements than pet-free bedrooms.

Aside from coming up on the 6-month mark, there may be other signs that your air purifier filter needs replacement. Watch for signs that your air purifier is no longer working to its fullest potential due to a full filter: for instance, if you’re using an odor control air purifier filter but notice unwanted scents seeping back into your space, it’s likely time to swap it out. Increased dust accumulation is another telltale sign of a full filter.

For your convenience, Canopy has eliminated the guesswork with a convenient indicator light. When it’s illuminated, simply replace the filter to keep fresher air flowing.

The best Canopy air purifier filter for your home depends on your filtration priorities. For people with allergies, the Protect Plus Air Purifier Filter is an excellent choice, thanks to its ability to filter up to 99.97% of irritants as small as 0.3 microns*. If odors from pets, cooking, or chemicals are your foremost concern, the Odor Control Air Purifier Filter is an excellent fit. In larger spaces, such as open-concept layouts, the Coverage Max Air Purifier Filter optimizes air flow to disperse purer air through widespread areas.

If your air quality changes at any point, you can easily switch between filter types before your current filter is due for replacement. For example, if you’re approaching peak allergy season and need the best level of protection against pollen and dust, you might switch from the Odor Control Air Purifier Filter to the Protect Plus Air Purifier Filter.

On the other hand, if new odors are introduced mid-replacement cycle, such as wildfires or home construction, you might switch from the Protect Plus Air Purifier Filter to the Coverage Max Air Purifier Filter.

To replace a Canopy air purifier filter, first make sure the device is switched to the off position and unplugged from the outlet. Then, open the unit by removing the faceplate. To release the filter, pull the slider button. Gently remove the used filter, place it in a disposable bag, and follow your local disposal regulations. Place the new filter into the faceplate, then replace the faceplate and plug in the light. Reset the filter light on your Canopy air purifier by holding the filter reset button for 3 seconds.
