Step 1Remove existing showerhead
Unscrew existing shower head by turning counterclockwise by hand or use the wrench provided. Not quite sure how? Learn more here.

Step 2Attach the Filtered Showerhead
Simply twist it clockwise onto the pipe until secure. Use the winged tab at the top of the Showerhead to tighten.

Step 3Enjoy your cleanest clean!
Use the adjuster on the face to toggle between the three water pressure settings offered.

Step 4Make it a shower ritual
Place the Felt Diffuser on your Filtered Showerhead and drop ~15 drops of oil onto the felt. Enjoy as the scent fills your bathroom!

What does it filter out?
The Canopy filtered shower head has been tested to ANSI/NSF-177 standards to reduce chlorine and other contaminants. The ingredients in our filtering media have been shown to help reduce chlorine, magnesium, calcium carbonate, iron, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, chromium, and chloramine.4

When & how do I change the filter?
We recommend replacing your filter every 90 days by pushing the lip of the showerhead upwards, removing & unscrewing face, tossing out the old & placing in the new filter inside
Will it fit in my shower?
It sure will! We created the Canopy Filtered Showerhead to fit the standard 1/2-inch thread size for modern-day US plumbing fixtures, including fixed, adjustable, rain, handheld and dual shower fixture set.

How do I use Canopy Aromas in the shower?
Drip 15 drops of your desired oil on the Felt Diffuser or into the shower directly for a quick burst of aroma, and hang freely in your shower. Enjoy!

The aromatherapy is super nice. I like the concept of the filter head but the execution is not working. I frequently have gasket problems on the shower head. It starts spewing water out the sides of the showerhead and then when that happens it's extremely hard to remove the shower head to replace the filter or even to fix the leak. It's not worth the trouble anymore honestly. My showerhead is empty of the filter now so whats the point of this product for me. I'm going back to my old multi-functional showerhead sans filter. Oh well. I might buy the one off amazon that's highly rated and it's on it's own separate thing.
Also I'm located in Tucson Arizona so our water is very hard and mineral-y. But I don't really think I've noticed a difference with or without the filter.
Hopefully they don't hide this review :D

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest and detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you've enjoyed the aromatherapy experience, but we're sorry that your overall experience with the Handheld Showerhead Filter & Aroma has been frustrating.
Based on what you've described, it's possible that the leaking around the faceplate may be related to filter saturation. For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the showerhead filter every 3 months, or approximately every 3,000 gallons of water (about 180 showers). However, in areas with particularly hard water—such as Tucson, Arizona—filters may need to be replaced more frequently. Once the filter media has turned entirely black and white and no longer contains any visible gold specks, it has reached its capacity and should be replaced.
Overusing a saturated filter can sometimes lead to leaking around the faceplate, and prolonged use beyond its lifespan may cause pressure buildup that can affect the device's performance. If leaking occurs, we recommend checking the filter condition right away. In the meantime, the showerhead can still be used without a filter until a replacement is installed.
We also understand your frustration with how difficult the faceplate can be to remove. The faceplate includes small grip points designed to provide additional traction when twisting it open. If it feels unusually tight, mineral buildup around the threads may be contributing to the issue. Ensuring both your hands and the handle are completely dry, and using a towel around the faceplate for extra grip, can often help. In some cases, pressure or suction can build up within the handle, making removal more difficult. If that happens, unscrewing the handle from the hose first can help release the pressure before attempting to remove the faceplate.
That said, we completely understand your disappointment, especially since the filtration benefits haven't felt noticeable enough to justify the maintenance. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we've shared your comments with our product team as we continue to improve both performance and ease of use for customers in areas with hard water.
