Return Policy

Except as described in this policy, all Canopy devices are covered by our 60-Day Happiness Guarantee. If there is any reason you are not satisfied with your device after use, you have 60 days from the date of delivery to return it to receive a refund of the purchase price, less a $10 handling fee (which includes the cost of return shipping). This applies to all Humidifiers, Diffusers, and Filtered Showerheads purchased from Canopy via our website, getcanopy.co (the “Website”). For more information on products excluded from this return policy, please see the “Exceptions / Final Sale” section below.

 

Applicability

We are only able to issue refunds for Canopy products purchased directly from our Website. If purchased from another retailer, please contact that retailer directly for information on their return policy. Keep in mind that retail purchases may still be eligible for replacement or exchange in accordance with our Product Warranty.

 

How to start a return or exchange

Some return reasons will require review by our Customer Experience team prior to return label creation.

  • For US customers we’ll be able to offer a prepaid return label via UPS.
  • Canadian customers will be required to cover the cost of postage for returns. You bear the risk of loss during shipment. We therefore strongly recommend that you fully insure your return shipment against loss or damage and that you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. 

We ask that, whenever possible, you return the unit in its original packaging. No need to include any accessories (filters or aromas) that have been used. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without completing the above process to receive a Return Merchandize Authorization. 

If you are returning items from multiple orders, they must be shipped separately.

 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong variant or item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll alert you to your refund status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded the purchase price of the returned device, less a $10 handling fee (which includes the cost of return shipping), to your original payment method as used on the Website. If your return involves a defective or damaged device or if you received the wrong variant or item because of our error, you will not be charged the $10 handling fee for your return. 

Refunds take between 1-3 business days to fully process following the completion of our inspection of your return.

 

Exchanges

All unit exchanges and replacements are covered under the Canopy Product Warranty.

 

Exceptions / Final Sale

Items sent back to Canopy without first requesting a return through the above process will not be accepted.

Personalized or Monogrammed devices are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the product was received already damaged.  We may request photos of the product’s condition, so do not dispose of any damaged products until directed to do so by Canopy.

Canopy subscription refills and unit accessories are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or refunded unless received damaged.  We may request photos of the product’s condition, so do not dispose of any damaged products until directed to do so by Canopy.

All filter and aroma products available on getcanopy.co are FINAL SALE and not eligible for exchanges or refunds. For safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for filters or fragrances.

Sales of Gift Cards are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
