While Essential Oils are safe a beneficial addition to any home, because of their fragrant and calming properties, they can also be quite corrosive.
We provide diatomite Aroma Stones and Diffusion Wells to absorb oils and prevent them from seeping onto the body of your Humidifier, Diffuser, or your furniture. Please don't remove the plastic sticker from the bottom of the Aroma Stone prior to use. The chemical effects of essential oils vary quite a lot depending on the type, for example, Lavender Oil is sometimes recommended as a natural alternative to chemical paint strippers.
Note: Keep oils out of reach of children or animals as they are not safe for topical use or ingestion.
The Diffusion Well is only compatible with the Bedside 2.0 and Nursery Humidifier 2.0, Aroma Diffuser and the Large Room Humidifier (formerly known as the Plus), it should not be used with our original Bedside or Nursery Humidifiers. If you're unsure about which unit you have, no worries. If your unit's Tray is compatible with the Diffusion Well you will see a space between the filter specifically designed to hold the Well. If you do not see this space, do not place any oil on your tray.
