Step 1Slide band onto spout
Slide band onto the bathtub spout and position it near the end where the spout cover will sit.

Step 2Attach the Spout Cover
Press the spout cover firmly onto the bathtub spout, over the attachment band. The band will help hold the cover in place securely.

Step 3Align the Spout
Make sure the spout is centered over the filter opening and filter is level.

How do I clean it?
Cleaning is simple and hassle-free! The bathtub filter does include built-in ventilation and an antimicrobial coating to resist mold and mildew buildup from happening in the first place but for regular upkeep you can wipe the silicone parts down with a cloth for everyday upkeep. For a deeper clean, you can place the filter’s silicone components on the top rack of your dishwasher.
When & how do I change the filter?
We recommend replacing your filter cartridge every 90 days by using finger tabs to pull out the old cartridge and swap in a new one to continue enjoying the benefits of cleaner water.

Worked well for about two weeks and now it won’t stay on the faucet and water flows through the top unfiltered. Pretty frustrating for the cost.

Based on what you've described, we'd recommend double-checking the attachment band placement. For the most secure fit, the band should be pulled all the way back toward the base of your tub spout, with the arrow on the tab facing the wall. This ensures the ribs are positioned correctly to help keep the filter securely in place.
It's also important that the band is not visible through the top slit of the silicone cover. When installed in this position, the filter is able to create a tighter seal and is less likely to slip or allow unfiltered water to flow through the top.

We initially LOVED this filter . It helped so much when my son had eczema and using this helped calm his flare ups. But I’ve noticed a lot of MOLD growth in the faucet attachment. It is really difficult to clean so we may have to just toss it. Such a shame because this product worked very well.

To help address what you're seeing, we recommend giving the filter a thorough cleaning before discarding it. Remove the filter from the tub spout, rinse away any visible buildup, and gently wash the surfaces with warm water and mild soap. If you have a dishwasher, the unit is also top-rack dishwasher safe and can benefit from a deeper clean that way. Be sure to allow the filter to dry completely before reattaching it.

My poor baby had eczema from the start and we tried all the creams, he had to be represcribed a stronger steroid for it to really go away. The water in Colorado is harsh and I actually noticed a difference in his eczema when I started using this filter. It didnt go away completely but the severity was noticeably way better than before. Since using this regularly and keeping up with switching it, he's hardly needed his steroids. Its also comforting that the nozzle cover is so soft and mushy in case they ever fell or hit their head it wouldn't be so traumatic.
