How is the Bedside Humidifier 2.0 different from the original version?

The Bedside Humidifier 2.0 takes your sleep, skincare, and wellness routine to the next level, while still being compact, efficient, and perfectly sized for any nightstand or nursery. Weโ€™ve kept the features you love, like Smart Persistent Airflow (SPA) technology, which keeps the fan running until it's nearly dry inside, and our embedded UV LED that cleanses the water you add. But now, the 2.0 is made with mold-resistant materials, offering extra protection against mold growth inside the humidifier*.

Weโ€™ve also made it easier to clean with dishwasher-safe parts, a new removable grill, and a wider tank opening for fuss-free maintenance.

The 2.0 is also still compatible with the aromas you love! With spots for diffusion on both the grate and tray.

On top of that, weโ€™ve added two new features!

The Bedside 2.0 now includes a Nightlight with a red light option to help support a calm sleep environment and a white light setting, both adjustable to your preferred brightness for the perfect wind-down routine. And for an even better nightโ€™s sleep, thereโ€™s an optional White Noise machine.

What has changed about the filter?

We've upgraded the filter used in the Bedside Humidifier 2.0 to be better than ever! The new blue-wrapped filter uses the same wicking paper as the original but now has an added pre-filter layer to trap dust and larger particles from the air to stop dust before it reaches your fan.

What is the runtime on the Bedside Humidifier?

Depending on the relative humidity in your room, a full tank will last somewhere between 18 and 36 hours.

The Bedside Humidifier has been designed to run continuously until all of the water in the tank has been used. This helps reduce the likelihood of mold growing in your unit or on your filter. For optimal performance, we recommend that you let your Humidifier's tray and filter dry completely at least once a week, this will also ensure that your filter will serve you as long as possible.

Please do not unplug your humidifier to turn it off while there is still dampness in the unit to be used.

How do I clean the Bedside Humidifier?

The Humdifier's tank, cap, and tray can all be put in the dishwasher. Essentially, any part of the product that holds water, can go directly into the dishwasher!

Do not place the body of the Bedside Humidifier, which houses the fan, into the dishwasher as this section is where the electrical components are stored.

We recommend that you keep your Bedside Humidifier on a clean surface, to avoid dust and debris being picked up by the fan. But if you're seeing dust in the fan of your humidifier you can clean this out by using canned air to dislodge anything that may have collected on the fan or screen. After using the canned air, simply wipe the fan with a damp cloth, both on top and inside your humidifier. No need to unscrew anything!

How do I change the filter in the Bedside Humidifier?

The light labeled "Filter" on the top of your Humidifier will illuminate when it's time to swap to a new Replacement Filter, but the best way to tell if your filter should be replaced is by looking and feeling. If your filter has turned crusty, hardened, and discolored throughout, then it's time to replace your filter. Generally, we recommend replacing your filter every 5-7 weeks to ensure the Canopy Humidifier is performing optimally.

Every time you insert a new Replacement Filter hold down the "On/Off" button down for 30 seconds to reset this indicator light.

What kind of water should I use in the Bedside Humidifier?

While most humidifiers recommend using only distilled water, you can enjoy the Bedside Humidifier with any type of water. Tap water is totally fine to use, as the filter will catch contaminants from the water before it is evaporated.
