Step 1Remove existing showerhead
Unscrew existing shower head by turning counterclockwise by hand or use the wrench provided. Not quite sure how? Learn more here.

Step 2Attach the Filtered Showerhead
Simply twist it clockwise onto the pipe until secure. Use the winged tab at the top of the Showerhead to tighten.

Step 3Enjoy your cleanest clean!
Use the adjuster on the face to toggle between the three water pressure settings offered.

Step 4Make it a shower ritual
Place the Felt Diffuser on your Filtered Showerhead and drop ~15 drops of oil onto the felt. Enjoy as the scent fills your bathroom!

What does it filter out?
The Canopy filtered shower head has been tested to ANSI/NSF-177 standards to reduce chlorine and other contaminants. The ingredients in our filtering media have been shown to help reduce chlorine, magnesium, calcium carbonate, iron, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, chromium, and chloramine.4

When & how do I change the filter?
We recommend replacing your filter every 90 days by pushing the lip of the showerhead upwards, removing & unscrewing face, tossing out the old & placing in the new filter inside
Will it fit in my shower?
It sure will! We created the Canopy Filtered Showerhead to fit the standard 1/2-inch thread size for modern-day US plumbing fixtures, including fixed, adjustable, rain, handheld and dual shower fixture set.

How do I use Canopy Aromas in the shower?
Drip 15 drops of your desired oil on the Felt Diffuser or into the shower directly for a quick burst of aroma, and hang freely in your shower. Enjoy!

The handheld shower head does provide softer water for hair and skin. However, it does impact the water pressure and there is only one setting for water flow.

We also appreciate your honest feedback about the water pressure and single flow setting. To clarify, the Handheld Filtered Showerhead is designed with a low-flow setting and does not have an option to switch the stream setting. We understand that water pressure and having different flow options can be an important part of a satisfying shower experience, and we’ll be sure to share your feedback with our team.
For reference, Canopy Showerhead Filters are designed to last for approximately 3,000 gallons of water, or roughly 180 showers. The actual lifespan can vary depending on the mineral content of your local water. If you have hard water, your filter may need to be replaced more frequently. One helpful indicator that the filter is full is when the gold flecks inside the filter have disappeared.
If you notice that your filter is full or contributing to reduced water pressure, you can also use the showerhead without the filter in the meantime. This can help avoid water-pressure issues while you wait for your replacement filter.

I’ve had a few hose issues, filter issues and water pressure issues but luckily customer service is pretty good so I was able to get them mostly all handled. The handheld showerhead is pretty heavy with the filter in it as well. But all in all still a filtered showerhead so does what it needs to.
