For the Fixed Showerhead, start by popping out the center section, just as you would when changing the filter. For the Handheld Showerhead, unscrew the showerhead from the hose. In both cases, remove the filter and set it aside before cleaning.
Next, fill a bowl or bucket with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, or use standard soapy water if you prefer. Submerge the showerhead components in the solution and let it soak for at least 30 minutes to dissolve any mineral deposits or buildup.
After soaking, use an old toothbrush or a small brush to gently scrub the nozzles, ensuring any remaining debris is removed. This process only needs to be done once or twice a year, or when you notice a buildup affecting the water flow.
