What is the Canopy Air Purifier doing?

Picture the air in your home. You can't see it, but it's full of tiny things floating around: dust, pet hair, pollen that snuck in through an open window, smoke from cooking, even invisible gases from cleaning products or candles. Most of the time you don't notice, but your body does. That's what can leave you sneezing, stuffy, tired, or waking up not feeling as rested as you'd like.

The Canopy Air Purifier is designed to help you breathe easier. It draws air in and passes it through a multi-stage filtration system, capturing up to 99.97% of dust, pollen, and pet dander in the air. The result? A cleaner, fresher space for you and your loved ones.

How it works (the 4-step process)

  1. Air enters through the intake.
  2. A pre-filter catches larger particles first, things like hair, lint, and everyday dust.
  3. The HEPA and activated carbon layers trap finer irritants, down to particles as small as 0.3 microns.
  4. Clean air flows back into your room.

Your purifier has a built-in sensor that checks your air quality (specifically PM2.5, the fine particles from things like dust, smoke, and pollen) every few seconds. When run on Auto Mode, based on what it senses, it automatically speeds up or slows down the fan:

  • Green Light - Good air quality: the fan runs at a quiet, energy-saving speed.
  • Yellow Light - Moderate air quality: the fan speeds up a bit to help clear things out.
  • Red Light - Poor air quality: the fan runs at its highest speed to refresh your air as quickly as possible.

At night when the room is dark, your purifier switches into Sleep-Safe Auto Mode. Unlike some other purifiers that keep adjusting fan speed all night long, Canopy's auto mode holds steady once it's dark so it won't ramp up and wake you. No app, no setup, it just senses the light in the room and adjusts.

Note: The Target 4-in-1 Air Purifier does not include the Air Quality sensor or Auto Mode, fan speed must be selected manually.
