We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with your Canopy Handheld Showerhead, especially the reduced water pressure and the hose splitting and failing in less than a year. We completely understand how disappointing and frustrating that must have been.

The Canopy Handheld Showerhead is designed to deliver 1.8 gallons per minute (GPM), which is intentionally designed to provide a comfortable, water-efficient shower. Some customers do notice a difference compared with their previous setup, particularly if they were using a higher-flow showerhead. This is part of the product’s design rather than a defect, but we absolutely want to make sure you’re getting the best possible experience.

There are also a few things that can make the water pressure feel softer than expected:

Filter age: If your filter is approaching or past 90 days, or appears discolored or clogged, the added resistance can noticeably reduce flow. Replacing it with a fresh filter is the quickest way to determine whether the filter is contributing to the reduced pressure.

Faceplate buildup: Mineral deposits can accumulate in the spray nozzles over time and restrict flow. To clean the faceplate, remove it and set the silicone gaskets aside, then soak the faceplate in white vinegar for 20–30 minutes. Gently scrub the nozzles with a soft brush or toothbrush, then rinse thoroughly. The faceplate can also be placed in the dishwasher.

Household water pressure: If your home’s water pressure is generally on the lower side, this can be more noticeable when using a low-flow showerhead.
