Step 1Slide band onto spout
Slide band onto the bathtub spout and position it near the end where the spout cover will sit.

Step 2Attach the Spout Cover
Press the spout cover firmly onto the bathtub spout, over the attachment band. The band will help hold the cover in place securely.

Step 3Align the Spout
Make sure the spout is centered over the filter opening and filter is level.

How do I clean it?
Cleaning is simple and hassle-free! The bathtub filter does include built-in ventilation and an antimicrobial coating to resist mold and mildew buildup from happening in the first place but for regular upkeep you can wipe the silicone parts down with a cloth for everyday upkeep. For a deeper clean, you can place the filter’s silicone components on the top rack of your dishwasher.
When & how do I change the filter?
We recommend replacing your filter cartridge every 90 days by using finger tabs to pull out the old cartridge and swap in a new one to continue enjoying the benefits of cleaner water.

Had for almost 90 days. I really wanted to love this filter but it gets moldy in the inside of the silicon very quick and is hard to clean the inside. It also droops down on my bath tap making it have extra water out of the overflow.

The Canopy Tub Filter was designed with cleanliness in mind and features Smart Persistent Airflow along with an antimicrobial coating to help resist mold and mildew buildup. That said, regular maintenance is still important. For the most thorough clean, we recommend handwashing the filter every other week using standard dish soap and a bristled brush, which is much more effective at reaching the curves and crevices than a dishwasher. Allowing the filter to fully dry between uses can also help keep it fresh.
Regarding the extra water you're seeing, the openings at the front of the filter and underneath where the filter sits are intentional spillways designed to release excess water when your faucet has a high flow rate. Even when water exits through these spillways, the majority of the water still passes through the filter media before entering your tub.
To help improve the fit and reduce slipping, we also recommend checking that the attachment band is pulled all the way back toward the base of your tub spout, with the arrow on the tab facing the wall. The band should not be visible through the top slit of the silicone cover, as this helps create a more secure seal.
