    Hi Kathy,

    Thank you for your feedback on the sound our unit makes. The volume of the fan varies depending on what setting you have your Diffuser set to. Many of our customers like that their Diffuser also doubles as a white noise machine.

    If you're finding the fan too loud we recommend that you either it in the Low setting. The lowest fan setting will still work hard to distribute aroma around your home, especially if you keep the Diffuser running whenever you're home. Remember that just one small 5 ml bottle of essential oil will last for up to 2 weeks running continuously!
