What does it filter out?

The Canopy filtered shower head has been tested to ANSI/NSF-177 standards to reduce chlorine and other contaminants. The ingredients in our filtering media have been shown to help reduce chlorine, magnesium, calcium carbonate, iron, hydrogen sulfide, mercury, chromium, and chloramine.4

Why should I shower in filtered water?

Your skin and hair deserve better than unfiltered water. The Canopy Filtered showerhead is pro-stylist approved for healthy-looking skin and softer hair.

How is it different from competitors?

The Canopy Filtered Showerhead is the only showerhead with:

  • Winged handle that makes install a breeze
  • Quick release filter replacement, so you don't have to detach it from the wall every time you want to change your filter
  • Three stream settings for the ideal shower experience
  • Aroma diffusion using our new Felt Diffuser, so you’ll have that fresh eucalyptus scent available without having to run to the store

When & how do I change the filter?

We recommend replacing your filter every 90 days by pushing the lip of the showerhead upwards, removing & unscrewing face, tossing out the old & placing in the new filter inside

Will it fit in my shower?

It sure will! We created the Canopy Filtered Showerhead to fit the standard 1/2-inch thread size for modern-day US plumbing fixtures, including fixed, adjustable, rain, handheld and dual shower fixture set.

See here for more information and examples of how the showerhead fits in different setups.

How do I use Canopy Aromas in the shower?

Drip 15 drops of your desired oil on the Felt Diffuser or into the shower directly for a quick burst of aroma, and hang freely in your shower. Enjoy!

Canopy handheld filtered shower head is just we needed

Both my husband and I are thrilled with this product! Since showering using Canopy filtered shower head our skin, and hair looks and feels so much better. There's a lot lime scale in our water, and Canopy filter has had a positive impact on us! And the water pressure is great too!

I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with hard water. You'll be glad you did.

    Kind regards,

    Patricia

    Shower Head Failure

We’ve had this shower head installed for less than a year and when using the head attachment failed and started shooting water out of the side. When taking it apart to see what happened a piece of the shower head itself seemed to be broken off and the twist on plate was no longer securely in place. We’ve never dropped the shower head and it’s in our spare bathroom so isn’t used all the time. Really disappointed about the failure so quickly after purchase.

    Hi Jocelyn,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Handheld Filtered Showerhead, especially the failure you experienced with the head attachment and the broken piece after less than a year of use. We completely understand how disappointing that must have been, particularly since the showerhead is in your spare bathroom and hasn't been subjected to heavy use or drops.

We sincerely apologize that the product didn't hold up as it should have. A member of our team will be reaching out to you directly to learn more about what happened and work toward a resolution.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We're sorry the product hasn't met your expectations and hope we can make this right.

Thank you again for being a Canopy customer, Jocelyn.

    Everyone deserves filtered shower water

Please, do yourself a favor and get into canopy! I had no idea what I was missing before I gave these shower filters a shot, and the reviews are real- my hair and skin is the best it’s ever been in my life. I’ll never go back! The only downside is that they are made of plastic and aren’t recyclable- hopefully canopy will do something about that.

    Great product!

Seriously saved my hair. Also, honestly I take the aromatherapy scents and mix them in a spray bottle of water and use it as an air freshener throughout my house! Pillows, dryer balls etc.
